I've finally gotten around to getting most of the wedding pic organized. I've updated most of them to Flikr. Click on the Wedding badge on the left to check out the pictures. (Yes I did have a run-a-way bra strap- oh well!) CDs of the pics will be sent shortly.

The weekend flew by to quickly! The wedding was spectacular and we couldn't have asked for better weather (Sunny and warm - nothing compared to where we came from).
It was awesome seeing family and friends, many of whom we haven't seen in a couple of months (since moving to Oregon). Magnus partied with the guys till 3 (or 5!) AM - while Junkmonkie took a more relaxed approach and was asleep by midnight every night.
The hotel suite at the Mirage was AMAZING!!! The bathroom alone was larger than some hotel rooms we've stayed in. The jetted bathtub was huge - and there were tons of floor to ceiling mirrors.
The wedding itself - while it went quick - was beautiful. Of course - happy tears were shed - but not as much as I thought there would be. We haven't looked at the wedding DVD yet - hopefully there are some good shots.
The reception was a blast. Very laid back and fun. And my grandma and aunt surprised me with a homemade wedding cake! My grandma has made all her kid's wedding cakes (and a majority of her grandkids). I'm the oldest granddaughter and had always dreamed of her making my wedding cake (down to the sugared curved hearts my parents had on their cake). Well - I had my wedding cake (down to the surgared curved hearts) - that was the best surprise of the entire event.
Our flight wasn't supposed to leave till 11 PM on Friday - ended up it didn't leave till almost midnight. We crashed hard for the entire flight.

Yeah! We are married!!!
Wow - the day is finally here. I can hardly wait to fly to Vegas and see all my family and friends coming in for our special day. Booked the limo today and called Grandma Arizona to confirm she is bringing needle and thread (just in case). Our roommate, Danno, booked a flight to Vegas - the same exact flight times!!! We are so glad he can make it in for our big day.
So.... I was looking thru some old photos and thought I'd include a couple that I believe are not in our albums. Wow - the next pics we take will be in Vegas for the wedding!!! Woooo whooooo!!!
Of course - we had to include Mr. Bronco.
Weather forecast for the day:
Yes - I was determined to sew the ring bearer pillow for the wedding. I found the perfect fabric (Clearance) and was ooggling the pretty buttons I could chose from for the center. I looked at ribbon widths and trims. But I kept longing for something I saw at a wedding website years ago, when we first got engaged.
I fell in love with was this pewter ring from Jean M. The ring of pewter is engraved with words speaking of the symbolism of the circle: "an unbroken and neverending circle symbolizes a commitment of love that is neverending". And I bought it. Now all I have to go is get ribbon matching the girls dresses. And I am happy. Magnus thinks it is cool to.
And after the wedding we can have it displayed somewhere in our home.
I also got a pretty garter.
I can now sleep much better. I picked up my dress this afternoon. It's been a few nail- biting weeks waiting for the seamstress to get the alterations done. I love the dress - it looks amazing. Who would have thought I got it discounted at the Phx Bridal Show 2 years ago!!!!
This is kind of an arty photo of the dress and Magnus in the background. He still hasn't really seen the dress - unlike me - he is ok with not knowing every single detail about the wedding!
I paid the rest of the wedding today and ordered the flowers - now I need to find the hairdressers and next week we are going to the mall to get the rest of the men's clothing. I can't believe we are only about 3 weeks away!
2nd time worked - I found the tiara and am IN LOVE WITH IT!!!! I bought it off of ebay - which, while e-bay is a great place to get great stuff - sometimes you don't know what you are getting yourself into. I spent months searching for tiaras - going to stores, trying them on, searching the internet and ebay. I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy this one. Here is a glimpse--- a little out of focus - but that is what you get with me taking a pic of the thing on my head in a mirror!! :-) Just a few more weeks to go!
Some have been asking for shower updates!! Well - I went to a fabulous shower in Arizona last week, hosted by my work buds: Michelle and Amy. I didn't take a camera and pictures are on their way. I'll post them to the site. My Oregon co-workers are using my wedding as an excuse for happy hour - so next week we are getting together after work for a swaree.
Ok - we passed the no turning back point now!! I sent off the invitations this morning! We are in the final stretch!
