My bud from Az, Mz. Secrest, is the BOM-BBBBBB! She is so wonderful and has been a real lifesaver this past year. I miss my Az Friends - how in the world did we ever survive without e-mail and instant messaging? Even with daily contact with Az - it is still great to get something in the mail. Mz. Secrest has come through!
I am just learning how to knit (self taught knitter - I can purl and knit in a straight line....... I'm moving on to I and D.......) and she sent me 2 beautiful skiens of Kureyon yarn from Noro. They are verigated.. she suggested some fingerless gloves. I think that would be awesome!
She also sent me some Shrinky Dink paper - I haven't used it yet - I am going to wait until I move back to Az (and my own oven).
And better still - some groovy chic "word" magnets. Wooo whooo!!!
She blogged about some totally cute fishy and snail ornaments from Anthropologie - that I of course fell in love with. Well guess what showed up in my mail soon after..... These!!! I love them!
These will look perfect on my 1 of 3 "Holiday" trees I am going to be putting up next winter. More on THAT later!!!
